Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Security Guard
• PSIRA Grades E, D and C
• Grade B and A certificates will be an added advantage
• Code C1 driver’s licence with PDP will be advantageous
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Tshivenda, Xitsonga and Sepedi will be advantageous
• Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit, alert and responsible
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Duties

• Control access and monitor entrances and exits
• Prevent poaching, unauthorised access and illegal activities
• Maintain vehicle entry and exit registers
• Protect park assets and property
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies
• Assist visitors and community groups
• Patrol and safeguard designated areas
• Operate security vehicles when required
• Perform general security-related duties as assigned
