SECURITY OFFICER

SALARY : R163 680 per annum
CENTRE : Karl Bremer Hospital

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum educational qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (Std 7). Experience: Appropriate journey as a Security Officer in a fitness facility. Registration with a professional council: Registration with the Security Board in terms of the Security Industry Regulatory Authority Act (Act 56 of 2001) PSIRA as a Grade C. Inherent requirement of the job: A Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence. Willingness to work night shifts, public holidays, weekends, and overtime. Must be pc literate. Candidates should be registered as a Security Officer Grade B or higher with the Security Board in terms of the Security Industry Regulatory Authority Act (PSIRA). Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good communication, listening, report-writing, conflict and team managing skills. Knowledge of protection related prescripts, rules and procedures.

DUTIES : ey end result areas/outputs): Ensure excellent prevention measures to make the administrative center a protected and impervious environment. Access and egress control of all areas on the establishment. Ensure superb keys and parking manipulate at the hospital. Conduct incident investigations and reporting. Provide guide to supervisor with the aid of making sure compliancemonitoring of outsourced protection officers.
