REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirement: Basic numeracy and literacy numeracy. Experience: Appropriate experience as a household aid/cleaner in a clinic environment. Inherent requirement of the job: Ability to function machinery and equipment. Ability to lift/move heavy gear and supplies. Must be inclined to render a shift carrier on weekends, public holidays, day and night time responsibilities and rotate in specific departments in accordance to operational needs and requirements. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Ability to work effectively in a team,
independently and unsupervised, to be given accountability and responsibility. Able to handle warfare and the ability to work below pressure.
DUTIES : General cleansing and protection (dusting, sweeping, polishing, scrubbing and mopping, cleansing windows and walls. Ensure that cleaning gear e.g. Polisher and scrubbing machines, mops, brooms and buckets are clean after utilization and securely stored. Effective use of cleaning retailers and inventory as nicely as basic inventory control. Provide easy linen for hospital and manage clean and dirty linen. Responsible for accepted hygienic and safe surroundings in terms of standards and tactics to prevent accidents and the spread of infection. Attend coaching courses where applicable.
