REQUIREMENTS : Minimum instructional qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade nine (Std 7). Experience: Appropriate journey in a sanatorium environment. Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to work shifts (day and night duty), inclusive of weekends and public holidays. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good interpersonal family members skills. Physically in shape to elevate heavy objects, push heavy trolleys, bend down, and continue to be on feet for long hours. Ability to work in a co-operative way inside a crew context. Good verbal exchange capabilities (written and verbal).

DUTIES : Collect and deliver soiled and easy linen and packs to and from theatre and wards. Effective software of sterilisation tactics and techniques and promote/adhere to contamination manipulate as well as health and security regulations. Decontaminate, pack and sterilisation of instruments, linen, and supplies. Assist with cleansing and checking out of sterilisation equipment, washing machines and autoclaves. Maintain tools in an most useful working condition. Cost wonderful utilisation of resources, monitor, control and preserve enough stock levels. Report and assist with investigation of misplaced instruments/equipment. Support to the supervisor and team members.
