HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR MUST HAVE GRADE 9

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum educational qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (Std 7). Experience: Appropriate experience in housekeeping and cleaning in a health care facility environment. Appropriate experience in management and ordering stock. Inherent requirement of the job: Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and after hours (night duty, weekends and public holidays). Willingness to work overtime on quick notice when required. Ability to function bodily duties e.g. utilization of cleaning gear etc. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Supervisory Skills, delegation of responsibilities and best utilization of sub-ordinates. Understanding health center waste management, Infection Prevention & Control, Linen management and time management.

DUTIES : Supervise the provisioning of housekeeping, cleaning, safeguarding, protection offerings and look at the duties of the Household Aids. Ensure a excessive trendy of cleansing via nice administration of waste control. Handle administrative duties e.g. leave, correspondence, reports etc. Supervise human and bodily resources. Supervise linen operations. Develop and manipulate duty rosters for housekeeping group of workers as properly as do in-house training. Supervision and allocation of personnel and delegation of functions.
