NURSING ASSISTANT GRADE 1 TO 3 (6 POSTS)

SALARY : Grade 1: R174 261 per annum
Grade 2: R203 271 per annum
Grade 3: R239 559 per annum
CENTRE : Lentegeur Hospital

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum educational qualification: Appropriate qualification that lets in registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant. Registration with a professional council: Registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant. Experience: Grade 1: None Grade 2: A minimal of 10 years’ appropriate/recognizable nursing experience after registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant. Grade 3: A minimal of 20 years’ appropriate/recognizable nursing ride after registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant. Inherent necessities of the job: Willingness to work shifts, day and night time duty, weekends, and public holidays to meet the operational requirements. Must be organized to assist in all departments according to operational requirements. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Effective communication competencies and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of nursing techniques & processes as outlined in Nursing, Health related & Public provider legislation, regulations & policies. Function within the team and facilitate on the stage of the post.

DUTIES : (key end result areas/outputs): Assist patients with things to do of every day residing which consists of affected person hygiene, provide nutrition, help with mobility, and elimination processes. Provide fundamental clinical nursing care. Maintain documentation and communication. Effective utilization of resources. Maintain professional growth/ethical requirements and self-development. Actively participating in inservice training interventions.
