STERILIZATION OPERATOR: PRODUCTION (CSSD) MUST HAVE ABET LEVEL four

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum instructional qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (Std 7). Experience: Appropriate ride in the Central Processing Department (CPD) Sterilization and Decontamination offerings in a hospital environment. Inherent necessities of the job: Willingness to work shifts, day duty, weekends, and public vacation trips to meet the operational requirements. Willingness to work in any branch within Central Processing Department (CSSD & Gas). Competencies (knowledge/skills): Effective conversation skills. Ability to work in a co-operative way within a crew context and willingness to be turned around within the CPD department. Good interpersonal relations skills. Basic understanding of disinfection, decontamination and sterilization.

DUTIES : (key result areas/outputs): Monitor, manage and keep sufficient stock levels, report, and aid with investigation of misplaced instruments/equipment. Effective software of sterilization techniques and methods and promote/adhere to contamination manipulate as properly as fitness and protection regulations. Decontaminate, pack and sterilize devices linen and supplies. Assist with cleansing and checking out of sterilization equipment, washing computer and autoclaves, lift-up and pushing heavy equipment. Maintain tools in an most beneficial working circumstance and utilization of resources. Use autoclaves, washing machines and equipment/consumables in a competitively priced manner. Maintaining expert growth, Ethical standards, and Self – Development. Record Keeping.
