MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To maintain a clean, hygienic, and orderly office environment through performing a range of cleansing and housekeeping duties.
The Office Cleaner ensures that all office areas, restrooms, assembly rooms, and common spaces are neat, presentable, and compliant with fitness and safety standards.
KEY AREAS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General Cleaning
Ensure cleansing tools and equipment are right maintained and stored.
Report any protection issues, damages, or protection hazards.
Follow health and safety regulations, such as correct use of cleansing chemicals.
Support setup or cleanup for meetings, events, or functions when required.
Uphold confidentiality and respect organization property at all times.
Daily Cleaning
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
Dust and wipe down desks, chairs, windowsills, and office equipment.
Empty waste bins and replace liners.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish substances (soap, rest room paper, paper towels).
Wipe and disinfect door handles, switches, and high-touch surfaces.
Maintain cleanliness in kitchen/canteen areas, such as washing dishes and wiping countertops.
Maintenance and Upkeep
Monitor and keep cleanliness of all high-touch surfaces, such as door handles, switches, and shared appliances.
Report any injury or breakages to furniture, fixtures, or gear right away to theOffice Administrator.
Identify and log any facility repair wishes and conceivable hazards.
Supplies and Inventory
Track cleansing and rest room supply levels, making sure well timed restocking and efficient usage.
Keep a register of materials used and report monthly or as needed for procurement planning.
Ensure all cleaning materials and chemical compounds are stored safely and in accordance with fitness and protection guidelines.
Support and Coordination
Follow and maintain the every day and weekly cleansing time table with accuracy and accountability.
Ensure cleansing duties are accomplished with minimal disruption to body of workers and business operations.
Handle confidential areas with discretion and appreciate for privacy.
Cooperate with the Office Administrator and support event setups or urgent cleaning tasks when required.
Weekly/Periodic Cleaning
Clean windows, blinds, and glass partitions.
Deep-clean carpets, upholstery, and other material surfaces.
Polish furniture and fixtures.
Restock cleansing materials and notify the Office Manager when substances are low.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
Grade: 8-12 (Preferred).
Previous ride as an office cleaner or in a comparable housekeeping position preferred.
Ability to work independently and efficaciously with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and safe dealing with procedures.
Good physical stamina and mobility, able to raise light gear and move between areas regularly.
Strong attention to element and pride in retaining a excessive trendy of cleanliness.
Basic communication capabilities (written and verbal) for logging elements and reporting issues.
