Dis-Chem Pharmacies is always looking for Casual Cashiers to construct a Genius pool for their Fourways Mall stores. Purpose of the role:
Support customer carrier at point of sale while ensuring a world-class buying experience. Record client transactions on the Dis-Chem operating machine according to corporation insurance policies & trendy working procedures, with zero tolerance towards inaccuracies & removing of fraud risk
Essential:
Grade 12 / Matric
A minimum of 6 months’ trip cashier/till operations experience
Computer literate – MS Office
Sound numerical skills
Strong command of the English language
Basic client service
Willing and capable to work retail hours
Job Description:
Adhere to Dis-Chem’s purchaser provider insurance policies and procedures
Establish a professional relationship with customers
Report consumer complaints and compliments to the Frontline Supervisor, or shop management
Adhere to the customer turnover hourly rate
Be conscious of contemporary sales and promotions
Ensure colleagues and clients are now not exposed to any risk
Carry out and manipulate Dis-Chem 5 megastar conversation principles
Be accountable for cash flow
Ensure all line voids and charge changes are permitted and signed off with the aid of the supervisor
Exchange merchandise for customers and be given lower back goods by using clients when authorized to do so
Transact all purchases – receive and manner all repayments (cash, bank cards, vouchers, coupons, different forms of payments) established by way of Dis-Chem
Process all loyalty playing cards consisting of those of our accelerator partners (Discovery Health Care, Medihelp Lifestage, Momentum Multiply, Legacy Lifestyle, ABSA Rewards and eBucks)
Ensure money is positioned in drop protected according to Dis-Chem’s SOPs
Ensure usage of your code and password is constrained to only you; is safe, and is modified regularly
Ensure all outgoing stock/items/scripts are scanned and paid for
Ensure that all cash is strictly saved safely and securely inner the till
Handle daily takings confidentially, and only discuss with management
Be alert, realize and document suspicious behaviour to management
Address queries related to shop merchandise
Adhere to Dis-Chem’s protection policies and procedures
