Requirements : 3-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6/7) in Public Management/Administration/Business Management/Facilities Management/Property Management or any diagnosed Built Environment qualification (Electrical/Building/Mechanical). Valid Driver’s License code 8 (EB) or 10 (C1). Knowledge and understanding of Legislative framework governing the Public Service, PFMA, OHS Act, Regulations and Project Management Principles. Relevant experience: 2-3 years’ journey in the Facilities Environment.
Duties : Facilitate the provision of facilities upkeep in compliance to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Environmental standards, and regulations: Identify hazard areas of g-Fleet’s constructions and other physical services that require refurbishment and / or maintenance, Conduct Condition Assessments for all g-Fleet buildings, implement preventative protection schedule, Assist in the improvement of emergency evacuation tactics for buildings, Coordinate and affirm protection plans for buildings, Coordinate the implementation of maintenance plans in line with Facilities Management processes, Facilitate fixtures and fixture necessities for buildings, Ensure sound upkeep of grounds and buildings. Coordinate maintenance and refurbishment projects: Coordinate and facilitate preservation and refurbishment projects, put into effect challenge diagram principles and test the development refurbishment and maintenance projects, Liaise with the applicable stakeholders for the refurbishments and renovation work. Provide administration guide services: Provide administration for maintenance/ refurbishment projects, Compile mission specifications procurement request, specifications, and submissions for all relevant maintenance projects, Compile minutes during facilities conferences and keep information of all meetings, hold sound file keeping of all digital and bodily documentation, compile all relevant required weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports inclusive of venture reporting as required. Supervise staff: Supervise body of workers performance and improvement plans, supervise workforce leave plans, provide gadgets reports, Distribute and allocate work to staff.
