CENTRE : Cape Winelands TB Centre, Breede Valley Sub-district

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirement: Basic literacy and numeracy skills. Experience: Appropriate trip in duties performed in an engineering environment. Inherent requirement of the job: Ability to work standby duties, overtime, weekends and public vacations when operationally required. The incumbent need to be able to deal with heavy objects, heights, narrow spaces and be on their ft the whole day. Valid driver’s licence (Code B/EB). Competencies (knowledge/skills): Able to work independently and as phase of a group Good interpersonal, verbal exchange and organisational skills.

DUTIES : (key end result areas/outputs): Perform a range of primary renovation obligations in the workshop, on the grounds and clear areas where work has been carried out. Assist with repairs and emergency breakdowns (including after- hour repairs). Control, control and safekeeping of tools, stock and gear in the workshop and carrying, loading and off-loading of equipment as properly as material. Identify protection and restore desires and ensure that equipment and material are on hand when wished and cleaned after use. Provide a aid service to the technical staff. Collection, movement and delivery of gear and furniture. Clean workshop and drains. Provide Support Service to technical Staff. Provide a smooth hygiene and safe working environment. Perform alleviation driver duties when necessary.
