SALARY : R138 486 per annum
CENTRE : Alexandra Hospital

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum educational qualification: Basic numeracy and literacy skills. Experience: Appropriate ride in a large scale, Industrial Food Service Unit in a hospital environment. Inherent necessities of the job: Willingness to work shifts, public holidays,weekends and overtime. Must be wholesome and robust ample to raise heavy objects and be on their toes the whole day. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of manufacturing for normal and therapeutic diets in an Industrial Food Service Unit on a large scale. Knowledge of hygiene, occupational health, HACCP and security principles.

DUTIES : Assist in the receipt and storage of all provisions and inventory in the Food Service Unit. Pre coaching and production of all normal and therapeutic diets. Weighing, dishing and distribution of food to a number wards. Cleaning of all areas, utensils and equipment in the Food Service Department. Follow and adhere to Health and Safety prescripts. Follow and adhere to fundamental manipulate measures and widespread operational procedures.
