QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12
Valid driver’s license (Code C)
PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
Forklift drivers’ license

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
2 Years experience as a driver – Truck and LDV
Experience in heavy industry, gained preferably in a furnace smelting operation
Good communication skills

JOB OBJECTIVES
In this role you will be reporting to the Engineering Managerfor the following:
Driving the Forklift, Tractor, Light Delivery Vehicle & 10 ton truck
Collecting and delivering stores and operational supplies
Loading and offloading of supplier deliveries
Stores escort on plant deliveries
Assisting the operation when required
Assist Stores Assistants with day to day tasks
Assisting with cyclical and annual stores stock counts
Stock rotation and safe storage practices
Cleaning and maintaining housekeeping
Diesel receiving and issuing
Overtime will be worked when required

Adhere to all policies and procedures
