GROUNDSMAN (GROUNDS)

Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services
SALARY : R138 486 per annum
CENTRE : Stikland Hospital

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirement: Basic numeracy and literacy skills. Experience: Appropriate groundsman experience in managing large grounds. Inherent requirement of the job: Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence. Physically suit and have to be capable to perform guide labour. Willingness to work overtime, when required. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good interpersonal and conversation skills. Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety. Capacity to work amongst humans with disabilities or different intellectual healthcare needs. Ability to use and manage gardening equipment.

DUTIES : (key end result areas/outputs): Effective upkeep of clinic grounds. To render time-honored and groundsman services. Perform all activities related to gardening and grounds, pruning of trees, cleansing of gutters etc. Effective removal of home and scientific waste. Effective assist to Supervisor.
