Description
The Early Childhood Development (ECD) Practitioner will put into effect all curriculum lesson plans, manage the lecture room and attend to all ECD administration work.

Responsibilities
Programme Implementation:

Organize weekly teaching diagram according to the curriculum lesson plan.
Request age terrific resources to support the lesson plan.
Conduct every day teaching in accordance to the curriculum lesson plan.
Identify adolescents with mastering boundaries and strengthen to the Principal.

Administration:

Attend workforce assembly as per the invite from the Principal.
Attend parents’ meetings as per the invite.
Attend all inner workshops.
Accept and guide the beneficiaries.
Report month-to-month on beneficiaries’ performance and programme’s progress.
Support excursions with the aid of informing parents of all requirements.
Capture daily attendance registers of the learners.
Classroom Management:

Store gaining knowledge of and teaching help material safely at all times.
Set-up the studying environment in accordance to the age groups.
Manage learner behaviour appropriately.
Maintain a secure and easy getting to know environment.
Educate freshmen on health and protection protocols to follow.
Handle emergency conditions with care.
Requirements
Qualification and Experience:

Matric (Grade 12).
Teaching tertiary qualification – minimal NQF degree five Certificate in ECD.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience.

Ability to work beneath pressure.

Meet deadlines.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to work independently.

Fluent in at least two languages.
