REQUIREMENTS : An fantastic SAQA acknowledged NQF degree 6 qualification in Communication/ Journalism/Marketing/Public Relations with a minimum of three years’ experience in a communication/marketing/public members of the family environment. A valid driver’s license is required. Understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and project management. Be capable to work under pressure, be prepared to work irregular hours (including weekends and public holidays) and journey drastically (when required). Have gorgeous verbal, writing and photography skills, and be in a position to meet all closing dates barring failure. The prospective employee must have thorough appreciation of each inner and external stakeholders in relation to Communication and the Department in general. S/he have to be capable to outline problems, determine handy options, collect data, establish information and draw valid conclusions. Must excellently recognize the mandate of the Department in phrases of applicable Acts, prescripts and regulations. Practical writing test will be performed on the day of the interview to verify pc and writing skills.
DUTIES : Assist in the development and implementation of branding and advertising and marketing plans; Produce content for all departmental Information-sharing publications; Coordinate public participation programmes and campaigns; Coordinate and attend departmental exhibitions and community Outreach Programmes; Facilitate the coordination of departmental Calendar of Events; Liaise and work intently with departmental Public Entities, government Finance Developmental Institutions, the public and other stakeholders; Manage departmental Branding material; Provide branding provider and make certain that all government and departmental events and things to do are supported; Keep both interior and external communication stakeholders oftentimes knowledgeable by all accepted channels of communication; Contribute content material (pictures and information articles) in the direction of the departmental social media platforms; Create a database of all captured pix in a form of Picture Gallery in the departmental Website and Intranet; Compile and submit all required reports; Provide ordinary administrative support.
