Requirements : A Degree qualification in Accounting/Risk Management or Auditing such as CIA/CA (SA). A publish graduate qualification will be added as an advantage. A minimum of 10 years’ journey in danger administration environment. COMPETENCIES: Knowledge – A accurate appreciation of the Risk Management and Corporate Governance, Public Finance Management Act and Treasury Regulations, EWRM, COSO mannequin and Public Sector Risk Management Framework.

Duties : The candidate will chair the Department’s Risk Management Operational Committee and furnish an oversight role regarding- Monitor implementation of danger management within Department. Review of applicable threat policies/strategies and different working procedures. Review hazard administration action plans to be instituted and make sure compliance with such plans. Integration of chance management into planning, monitoring and reporting processes. Review chance urge for food and tolerance ranges of Department. Provide reviews to the Accounting Officer on quarterly groundwork and different administration committees or different oversight committees. Implementation of risk maturity model.
